Privacy & Cookies Policy
This page explains, in plain terms, what information we collect when you visit this website, why, and what rights you have.
Who we are
This website belongs to Efi Rooms & Apartments, Kallikrati 11, Soumpra, Myrina, Lemnos 814 00. You can reach us at Efirooms@gmail.com or by phone at +30 6944 911 266 / +30 2254 024 908.
What information we collect
We only collect the information you give us yourself — through the contact form, by phone, or by email. The form on this site simply opens your own email program with a ready-made message to us; nothing is stored on the website or in any database of ours.
Why we use it
We use your information only to answer your questions and handle your booking. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.
Service providers
- Google Firebase — hosts the website; keeps technical server logs (including your IP address), as every hosting provider does.
- Google Gmail — this is where messages you send through the form or directly by email arrive.
- Google Maps — only loads if you click the “See the map” button (see “Third-party services” below).
Google may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards required by European law.
How long we keep it
Your information is kept for up to 12 months, unless a booking goes ahead — in that case, for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct, or delete your information by writing to us at Efirooms@gmail.com. If you feel we haven't handled it properly, you can contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Cookies
We don't use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The website stores, only on your own device, your choice to view the Google map — so you don't have to click the button again on your next visit. You can clear this choice at any time:
Done — maps have been turned off.
A temporary technical setting may also be used to make the page work correctly, which clears itself automatically when you close the tab.
Third-party services
The maps in the “Contact” and “Guide” sections first appear as static images (data © OpenStreetMap contributors) and only load Google's real, interactive map if you click the “See the map” button — from that point on, Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply. Links to Facebook and Google Maps elsewhere on the site open external websites outside our control.
